Lost in the Mediterranean world

Probably this is not a topic tightly or immediately related to translation per se, but related to culture, anthropology and mere geography.
When I am in Italy, I just feel the urge of flashing the Mediterranean Map to everyone I meet, in a bid to explain to them that Lebanon IS NOT in North Africa, or on the African continent!
If anything, North Africa is close to Italy and not to Lebanon!

So here, now that I have my own blog, I will post as an inaugural step the map of our dear old Mediterranean, to enlighten eyes that do not want to see.
